Hi, my name is Hannah Grice, LAc! I the acupuncturist at The Wellness Center in Beaverton, and am no stranger to the health care field. Before starting graduate school at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine (OCOM) 5 years ago, I worked for 13 years in various health care environments, including hospitals, community centers, and private in-home health care settings. I have also received multiple certifications and trainings over the years, such as: CNA nursing assistant; lifeguard; in home nurse; EMT; caregiver; and, most recently, a Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MAcOM) and licensure as an acupuncturist in the state of Oregon. My very diverse background and personal experience has provided a strong foundation for delivering excellent patient-centered care as a practitioner, and developing skills as a “forever student” of acupuncture and Chinese medicine. Passionate about helping and caring for others, I will provide compassionate and personalized consultations and treatments to help individuals take an active role in their unique health care journey. I offer a wide range of services, including acupuncture, Chinese herbs, Quantum shiatsu, gua sha, cupping, qi gong, nutrition and mindfulness techniques all catered to the unique needs of each patient. Come experience a one of a kind acupuncture treatment for yourself.
I am originally from a small farming town in Virginia and moved to the Pacific North West for graduate school in 2015 with my husband, two friends and our dog. I completed my undergraduate studies in Health Sciences at James Madison University in 2013 where I branched out from studying only western medicine and discovered my passion for Chinese medicine. In addition to attending OCOM, I did work study as a student in OCOM’s Herbal Medicinary obtaining in-depth knowledge of the world of Chinese herbalism. After graduating from my master’s program in August 2019, passing 4 board exams, and getting licensed I decided to go to Nepal to provide acupuncture and medical care to communities in need. My Nepal journey was cut short due to the emerging pandemic, but my time with the Acupuncture Relief Project and Good Health Nepal were life changing. In my spare time, besides itching to get back to Nepal, I enjoy being outside playing in the garden, going to the coast, and hiking with my dog Angel.
I am available for one of a kind consultations and treatments at The Wellness Center in Beaverton!
